Right … it’s officially Thursday … 

And … ?

It’s officially quiet … !

I’m planning very little: beyond writing, a little shopping … and possibly watching TV.

One bit of good news that has brightened my day … ?

Is the email that turned up, yesterday.

Apparently?

I qualify for a Department of Work and Pensions Cold Weather Payment of twenty-five pounds.

That will be useful: and something that goes into my bank account by Tuesday.

That can’t come soon enough: It’s been cold!

It has to be said, I’m running a little late, today.

I’ve got HandBrake running in the background: doing some hefty transcoding.

That … ?

Has slowed down uploading today’s Teaser video.

Which has held everything else, up.

Frankly?

I’m thankful today’s going to be quiet.

It’s not as if I’ve anything planned for the day … !

Right … I’m feeling vaguely rushed.

I’ve got a meeting at the Job Centre at nine thirty.

But … ?

But, I hear you ask?

I had an engineer visit, yesterday: to look at my boiler.

His view?

The last set of visits, three months ago?

Made a complete hash of the job.

Which I knew.

I’m boiling the bath water as we speak.

But, in this engineer’s opinion?

As the boiler would have to come off the wall so the element could be replaced, and everything flushed, and god knows what else??

It would be a lot to replace the boiler, as repair it.

Much as happened the last time the thing needed repairing?

I have to phone up the contractors to book a supervisor visit, that will authorise that repair.

Much as I did in November.
