You know, it’s got to said, my copy of Safari’s taken a while to get going, today.
So — as ever — I’ve had Radio 4 on.
Who, during their news bulletin, have included a mention of the fact that the US state of South Dakota has introduced a
law that allows school staff to carry arms: after training, I should add.
That’s — debatably — understandable.
Especially given the spate of these things the US seems to suffer on a regular basis.
Two things occur. On a personal note, I don’t know, given this law, if I’d be comfortable sending my kids to school in South Dakota.
The other … ? Is why on Earth aren’t US state legislators aren’t encouraging more teachers in their states to do what one teacher in
California did: and talk a shooter down.
Right … Rant over: let’s move on …
