It’s still handy to have a few of them, around: which is why I’m taking it to my weight management meeting, today.

There’s talk — inevitably — that more lost episodes of Dr Who have been found.

Or, at least, that lost episodes are in the hands of private collectors: and may be made available to the BBC.

I hope so.

With ninety-seven episodes missing, it would be nice to see complete lost stories found.

Marco Polo, The Mythmakers, and Fury From the Deep would be nice to see.

The third episode of The Web of Fear would be great: the animated replacement is awful.

But … ?

I’d love to see The Daleks’ Master Plan, completed.

Relic — A Review

6th August, 2020.

Right … I have to confess to being in a funny mood, last night.

Which, frankly?

Is when I filmed that video.

Frankly?   I wanted to watch a movie: and had one lined up.

Courtesy of a Facebook group I belong to, called Horror Movie Maniacs.

They were having a watch party.

And, while the technology would work on my set up, it wasn’t exactly what you call perfect.

So I managed to get a copy through other sources.

I have to confess, though I was in a funny mood, last night: so only actually got through half of the film.

I do know this, though.

For starters … ?   I’ve boiled vegetables on both nights.

Secondly?   I’ve seen the rest of the film.

Thirdly?

Yes: Relic is interesting.

Spectral — A Review

7th March, 2020.

You know, it had to be said … I get into a funny mood, at times.

I’m out of a job: and suffered with depression, amongst other things.

And … ?

And, I’ve accidentally locked myself out of my Universal Credit account on top of everything else.

There’s possibly a long story, there.

On the up side … ?

I’ve satisfied myself that my new laptop — a second hand Thinkpad, running a version of Ubuntu MATE — can be used in the local library.

Or, at least, connected to their wi-fi.

I’ve more complaints about Catalina as a result.

Or, at least, Safari.

I’ve been tinkering about with the new computer for a while … 

But fancied catching a TV show … or possibly a movie.

I settled for a movie: the 2016 film, Spectral.

Whether I made a good decision is a whole other matter.
