Yay!
It’s the first day of a whole new year!
And … ?
I’m feeling vaguely optimistic: as I always do.
I suspect that could well be the hopes one has for a new year.
But also the simple fact that Christmas — with all the attendant stress, expense and worry — is over for another year.
