It’s Wednesday!

And I’m up, early, for the second time this week!

I’ve got the usual blood-tests for type-two diabetics need to take.

Hopefully?

Hopefully, when I have the usual appointment with my diabetes nurse, next week, that my blood sugar levels are down.

I have to admit, I caught another episode of Babylon 5, last night: and have to admit, it’s — still — interesting.

The design of the station, itself?

Is quite something.

And the costumes in last night’s episode?

With what looked like a hell of a lot of lace covered brocade?

Had me thinking of some of Prince’s stage wear.

It’s quite something,

But that’s not what I wanted to mention.

No.

I have a mild issue.

One character, Lt-Commander Susan Ivanova, is supposed to be Russian.

Given that?

Why, oh, why … is she called Susan … ?

It’d got to be said, getting cards on my birthday?

Is always nice … 

Even though it always tells me I’m getting older.

But, in spite of that … ?

It was definitely nice to get the card I got from my eight year nephew, Jude.

Well … 

There was cake …

Saying that?   The day — as ever — had its ups and downs.

After all, hearing that Keith Flint and Luke Perry had died — both not that much older or younger than me — was a bit shocking.

My condolences go to their families.

On the up side … ?

Ish … ?

I’ve finally heard back from BT.   No, I didn’t get the job.

But they have agreed to try  and send some feedback.

That’s something.

Oh … and I’ve caught another episode of El Ministerio Del Tiempo.

That is quite a show … !

Thoughts are a … funny old thing.

Aren’t they … ?

Right at the moment … ?

I’m thinking that a couple of people have suggested I go freelance: writing stuff for Fiverr, and earning a bit of extra money.

I think … I might just.

There’s a couple of people offering pub quizzes on there, which means there’s minimal competition.   And I can accept payment with my Paypal account.

First things first, though … 

I THINK I’m going to have have something to sell.

Coming up with premium versions of the pub quizzes I hand out here?

Might just be the thing.

The Daily Teaser — 11-9-2014

Right … That’s the plan for today roughed out!

Did I mention — last week — that I was due a visit from a plumber?

Who didn’t turn up.

Apparently, they’d received a couple of emergency call outs: although my personal suspicion is that they couldn’t find a parking space.

Well: I managed to make another appointment for today.   The plumber should be looking at that u-bend, at some point between two and four, this afternoon.

Here’s hoping they get here.

I need that bucket to flush the loo … !
