27th January, 2025: the Holocaust.
Yes: it’s officially official.
It’s Monday!
As the start of a whole new week, the start of a whole period that makes us another week older and wiser …
And a week where we’re allowed to make assorted ‘YAY’ noises.
Just maybe not that excited!

At any rate … ?
It’s a Monday.
And?
Excitable Yays* aside, it means it’s I’m off to my Weight Management meeting.
Hopefully?
I’d’ve lost weight.

Whilst writing this?
I’ve had Radio 4 on: early enough that the station’s Prayer for the Day played …
Obviously, today is Holocaust Memorial Day: so Rabbi Julia Neuberger was an appropriate choice of speaker.
With an interesting piece.
Strangely, though?
She referenced Helen Fry’s The Walls Have Ears: the book about the operation that bugged the cells of senior German prisoners-of-war.
The reason I found it strange?
Was simply the co-incidence: I’m currently reading the book, and it’s fascinating stuff …

Just as a last thought … ?
That photo is the one I’ve used as a thumbnail for today’s Teaser video.
Because it’s striking.
Because of the man in the centre of the photo, the man who’s carrying a friend, and staring at the camera.
His expression caught my eye.
It seems to say “You knew. You knew.”
Given the history?
The accusation is understandable …
