Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 18-6-2017

*Yawn*

You can’t tell I’m tired, now can you … ?

I am, though.

And seriously thinking I want to go back back to bed.

Thankfully?

I’ve got a day off, today.

Which means I can have a sneaky snooze, later.

Once I’ve done the shopping, laundry, teaser, tidied the flat, had breakfast, shaved, showered … …

Did I mention I’m working, at the mo?

Not literally right now: I’d never be able to get to Nik Nak’s Old Peculiar from a work pc.

But I’ve a job: at a call centre.   That takes calls for various social landlords, amongst other.

One of those others?

Is the Greater London Authority.

Usually?

We take the press calls: and direct anyone else to the relevant webpage or local council.

What we do with the real weirdoes, though?

Is a case by case thing.   I had to tell one woman, last night, that her suggestions to use pre-fabs to house the homeless of Grenfell Tower was good: but that she might want to email it over to Mayor Khan.   In another?   We had a chap demanding to know what the Mayor was doing to get the Royal Family to help.

You couldn’t make it up …
