Right … I now have new spectacles.

Or, at least, new computer spectacles: ones I use working at my computer.

Not that you’d notice.

They’re pretty much the same frames as the last ones.

I have an excuse: I was on a budget!

Right … I mentioned getting an interview lined up, yesterday.

Strictly, it had been offered to me: all that was need was getting the time and venue confirmed.

That’s now been done.

It’s Monday, at twelve, in Brentwood High Street.

I’m hoping it goes well.

But … well, we’ll have to see …

In other news?

You’re possibly aware of the boiler situation: my ageing boiler needs either repairing or replacing, as it’s not exactly heating water, very well.

I got advised by the visiting engineer that phoning my landlords, yesterday, would be a good idea: they’d’ve received his report, and would be able to discuss any decisions needed.

So … ?   I phoned them.

As I’ve already Tweeted to Anne, Debbi and Olga, my landlord’s phone system are down for maintenance until Tuesday.

Just phoned my landlord about the boiler … and their phone line’s closed until Tuesday … !

The Daily Teaser — 2-11-2015

Oh, well, there’s a thing … I’ve had a good night’s sleep, and woken up feeling vaguely refreshed.

What’s more … ?

Amazon have done their usual thing, and delivered things I’d ordered … a couple of days earlier than they said they would.

Actually … ?   I’m glad they did: means I can rip/watch the DVDs, pronto, and possibly make some money back, selling them to my local branch of CeX.

It ALSO meant I could watch one purchase earlier than I thought.   The recently released classic Dr Who story, The Underwater Menace

Interesting to watch, The Underwater Menace.   And equally interesting to hear.   If you can imagine incident music that’s a mix of Gregorian chant, and music made using squeaky dog toys.

Very strange … !
