4th December, 2023: the Introduction.

Right … it’s now officially Monday!

In case you hadn’t guessed.

And?

Yes: that means potatoes are being boiled … and dinner prepared.

And possibly another video or two, being cut.

At any rate: it’s Monday, and I’m going to be watching “House Divided”: the next episode of For All Mankind.

By the time you’re reading this?

It’s be the 5th December: hopefully, you’ll be enjoying my review!

For All Mankind — Series 4 Episode 3 — “The Bear Hug” — A Review

27th November, 2023: the introduction … !

It’s official: I’ve started this Monday.

Which you’ve possibly either;
  • Worked out.
  • Or got confused by!
Especially if you’re not reading this on a Monday!

At any rate … ?

I’m running on a lack of food, not enough exercise … and little sleep.

I’m going to try and deal with one of those: dinner’s cooking, as we speak.

Sausages, so you know!

Once that’s eaten?

I’ll be watching “The Bear Hug”, the next episode of For All Mankind.

I’ll have my review up, tomorrow.

And yes: dinner is on the go.

Or, at least, roast spuds and a piece of chicken!

But, with that cooked and eaten, and a video about comics, watched?

I’ll be sitting in with “Glasnost”, the first episode of For All Mankind’s fourth series, then … ?

Telling you about it, tomorrow night.

Now …

Read on …

Yes: it’s officially Sunday night.

And TV will be watched.

Yes: it’s Easter Sunday.

And I’m going to be settling in with ‘Stranger in a Strange Land’: the last episode of this season of For All Mankind.

For All Mankind — Series 3 Episode 9 — Coming Home — A Review

2nd April, 2023: ‘Coming Home’.

Yes: it’s officially Sunday.

And … ?

Dinner is officially on.

Frankly?

It’s not Friday: so chips are out … and chilli is in!

Rather than a roast!

Either way … ?

I’m going to be watching TV, tonight.

Yes: episode nine of For All Mankind’s third season.

Frankly?

I’m wanting to find out what happens to Margo in this episode!

For All Mankind — Series 3 Episode 8 — The Sands of Ares — A Review.

26th March, 2023: ‘The Sands of Ares’.

Right …

Sunday Night TV is getting to be something of a tradition.

You’d guessed that, hadn’t you?

That’s it’s getting to be a routine to watch something.

In this case … ?

For All Mankind.

Which is looking rather good.

As is AppleTV⁺’s Tetris.

That’s something for another time.

At any rate … ?

It’s Sunday, I’m going to be watching the next episode of For All Mankind …

And I’ll be telling you about it, tomorrow night!

For All Mankind — Series 3 Episode 7 — Bring It Down — A Review

19th March, 2023: ‘Bring It Down’.

Right … Sundays …

Sundays are the one day of the week that I spend quality time with my family.

I did: it is Mother’s day, after all.

I think we can safely say a fun time was had by all … bar the broken water glass.

At any rate?

I’m now home: and just about to sit down with a large mug of tea: and ‘Bring It Down’, the next episode of For All Mankind.

Last week’s episode ended up with an argument.

This week’s episode?

Could go anywhere!

For All Mankind — Series 3 Episode 6 — New Eden — A Review

12th March, 2023: ‘New Eden’.

Right …

As you’re no doubt already aware … ?

It’s Sunday!

Which means … well … that I’ve had dinner with my family.

Which reminds me, I’ve got to fill in my food diary.

After I’ve watched TV, of course.

“What,” I hear you ask, “are you going to be watching, today, Paul?”

It’s Sunday!

Where have you been … if you hadn’t worked out I’ll be watching ‘New Eden’, the next episode of For All Mankind’s third series?

And, given ‘Seven Minutes of Terror’ left us watching Margo digging her own grave … ?

I want to know what happens next … !

For All Mankind — Series 3 Episode 5 — Seven Minutes of Terror — A Review

5th March, 2023: ‘Seven Minutes of Terror’.

Yes: it’s Sunday night.

And, for once?

I’m having dinner at home: rather than with my family.

To be fair?

They DID take me out for dinner, last night!

Well, it was my birthday, yesterday.

At any rate … ?

It’s Sunday.

Which means I’ll be having something to eat.

Then …

Watching the next episode of For All Mankind, series three.

Given how good ‘Happy Valley’ was?

I have high expectations of ‘Seven Minutes of Terror’.

For All Mankind — Series 3 Episode 4 — Happy Valley — A Review

26th February, 2023: ‘Happy Valley.’

Yes!

It’s Sunday night!

And, frankly?

I’ve just had dinner.

You’d possibly guessed that, by now!

You’ve possibly also guessed what I’m going to tell you next.

Yes: as I’ve been doing for for the past few weeks, I’m going to be settling in with the next episode of For All Mankind’s third series.

Judging by the various bits of blurb that I’ve scrupulously avoided?

It sounds like a good episode.

For All Mankind — Series 3 Episode 3 — All In — A Review

19th February, 2023: All In.

It’s Sunday … !

You’d noticed that, already.

And frankly?   I’m doing what thousands of others are doing: and cooking dinner … before I watch some TV.

Yes: it’s Sunday …

So I’ll be watching ‘All In,’ the next episode of For All Mankind’s third season.

I’ll have my written, and video, up, tomorrow night!

For All Mankind — Series 3 Episode 2 — Game Changer — A Review

12th February, 2023: Game Changer.

Right … it’s Sunday: and … ?

I’m back from my family’s, after dinner …

And … ?

Frankly, I’m ready for some TV.

I’m going to be watching Game Changer: the second episode of For All Mankind’s third series.

I’m looking forward to it: and getting my review up, tomorrow.

~≈🚀≈~

Monday, 6 February 2023

For All Mankind — Series 3 Episode 1 — Polaris — A Review

5th February, 2023: For All Mankind — Polaris

Right …

It’s a Sunday night.

Not something I expect to be watching a movie: or a TV show.

But, none the less?

An evening where — just for a change — I’ve made up my mind to watch a TV show.

I seriously need to catch up with the AppleTV+’s For All Mankind.

As fas as I’m concerned?   The third series kicks off, tonight: and I’ll have my written And video reviews up, tomorrow.

I’ll see you all, then.

For All Mankind — Series 2 Episode 10 — The Grey — A Review

8th June, 2021.

It’s officially official.

It’s getting late.

But I’ve just done two things, TV related, today.

First?   I managed to sell off my blu-ray copy of the Doctor Who Collection Season 10 box set to the Romford branch of CeX: and got what I believe to be a reasonable price for it.

That — effectively — reduces the price I paid for it.

So, no complaints, there, then.

The other bit of TV related stuff?

I’ve finally managed to catch the last episode of For All Mankind’s second season.   I’ll tell you more about that, tomorrow night.

For All Mankind — Series 2 Episode 9 — Triage — A Review

1st June, 2021.

Right …

I’m officially going to go to bed, in a few minutes time.

It’s getting late: I was up at 5:30, this morning!

And frankly?

Eno’s Ambient 4: On Land is doing a good job of being odd in the background.

Tal Coat is quite something.

At ANY rate?

I’m doing my usual thing: of starting a post about episode nine of For All Mankind’s second season.

I’ll be writing more about it, on Wednesday.

But?

Safe to say, the episode goes out with a bang …

For All Mankind — Series 2 Episode 8 — And Here’s to You — A Review

25th May, 2021.

Right …

It’s getting late: but I’m trying something of an experiment.

I’ve tried using the same video introduction, twice.

The uppermost copy?   Is one I’ve uploaded directly to Nik Nak’s Old Peculiar.

The second, or lower, copy?   Is the same video: uploaded to YouTube, and embedded from there.

If you could let me know which one works?   I’d appreciate knowing.

~≈📺≈~

Did I mention I’ve been able to afford a new AppleTV?

I’ve been able to afford a new AppleTV: the second generation 4K one, with the A12 processor.

The upside?   The thing connects to my media library a lot quicker the the old version, which is good.

The downsides?   It took a while to connect the game controller I had.

And the new Siri remote … ?

I like the first generation one: everything you needed was on the front.

The new one, with a very retro click wheel design?

Is a good navigation tool: but doesn’t work well with some of the games I have, ones that relied on the older model’s touch pad.

The second generation model has an ‘Power’ button — and a Siri button — on the right hand side.

Very fiddly, if, like me, you’re left handed!

At any rate … ?

It’s settling in.

Which means I used it to watch And Here’s To You, episode eight of series two of For All Mankind.

I’ll tell you more about that … tomorrow.

But yes: the title’s relevant …

For All Mankind — Series 2 Episode 7 — Don’t Be Cruel — A Review

18th May, 2021.

Any minute now … ?

I’m going to hit the sack.

Really.

I’ve got some entertaining bedtime really — A Nomad of the Time Streams — that’s just getting to the good bits.

But … ?   As is getting to be something of a tradition, I’ve watched another episode of For All Mankind, made a few rudimentary notes …

And wanted to at least get started on the post.

I’ll be back … after this snooze … !

For All Mankind — Series 2 Episode 6 — Best Laid Plans — A Review

11th May, 2021.

Right … I’ve got to confess, I’ve had a rather good dinner.

Beef stew, if you’re asking: with some leek in it as one of the vegetables.

Just for a change!

And, frankly?

I’m off to bed: Moorcock’s A Nomad of The Time Stream is getting interesting.

Captain Bastable’s finding out more of what makes disgraced airman, Dempsey, tick.

But?

I’ve just spent an hour watching another episode of For All Mankind.

Series two, episode six, so you know.

I’m off to bed, right now: and will let you know more, tomorrow night!

For All Mankind — Series 2 Episode 5 — The Weight — A Review

4th May, 2021.

It’s got to be said: Tuesday night TV is getting to be a tradition.

For me, at any rate.

I job hunt in the morning, I do whatever else needs doing, then I have dinner.

Chicken stew, if you’re asking.   And a baked spud.

The stew’s not bad: but needs work, I think.   Or more carrots.

Or different stock, possibly.

Maybe some bacon.

At any rate: once I get dinner eaten, I’m ready to watch another episode of whatever series I’m following.

In this case?   Episode five of the second series of For All Mankind.

I’ll tell you more about it, tomorrow night.

Assuming I can make sense of my notes, that is!

For All Mankind — Series 2 Episode 4 — Pathfinder — A Review

27th April, 2021.

*Spoilers*

Right … it’s a Tuesday night: and frankly?

I’m off to bed, in a bit.

Mostly because I want an early night: and want to read a book.

I’ve been reading The Nomad of the Time Streams, recently, and want to get another chapter, done.

So?

I’m starting my review of the fourth episode of For All Mankind, Pathfinder, now.

And will be finishing it off, tomorrow.

I’ll see you then.
