I’ll’ve lost weight.

I’ll remember to take my shopping trolley.

That makes buying milk and potatoes a lot easier.

I don’t know if you followed my reviews of the series … but I was glued to Star Trek: Discovery.

And very impressed by Michelle Yeoh as Emperor Georgiou.

She the best thing in it.

So … ?

I was pleased to hear a Georgiou-centred spin-off was planned.

One that’s now turned into a made-for-Netflix movie called Section 31.

The release date is 24th January, 2025.

I’m looking forward to that!

I have to admit, I think being out of a job can … well … 

Leave you in a funny mood, sometimes.

Thursday night, for example?

I tried sitting in with a film called The Wandering Earth.

And couldn’t get through more than half of it.

I’m frankly, blaming my extremely odd mood.

I just couldn’t sit still long enough for it.

Tonight, on the other hand … ?

Tonight, I still feel … slightly meh, to use a term … 

I did manage to catch a movie … 

Yes: you’ve possibly worked out which one.

I’ve been meaning to watching Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children for some time, now.

Really … !

And it has to be said, I’ve been following I’m Sorry, I Haven’t A Clue for several years: I had last night’s episode on, as I started writing this.

With last night’s Mornington Crescent being a rather tough match!

My point … ?

My point is quite simple: the show is possibly the best thing going, and is well worth catching!

Skyfall: Bond’s Birthday Bash …

It has to be said, sometimes.

That anniversaries can be a lot of hot air.

No, really … !

I spent last night, watching Skyfall, Eon Productions’ latest entry into their James Bond franchise: the 23rd film in the series had a cinematic release that heavily trumpeted the fact it was the 50th year since the release of the original film, Dr No.

Hmm … 

This possbly sounds like I’m going to tell you about a film I’ve seen and how I’ve possibly not enjoyed it it.

Not quite.

Hmmm …  let me try and tell you about Skyfall …
