Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 7th November, 2022.

7th November, 2022.

Yes: It’s true.

I’m up early, again.

I’ve got another meeting at the local Job Centre.

Which should be … if not fun, then relatively innocuous.

I do know I’ve a thing or two to ask about: mostly about ID.

I may need a new copy of my adoption papers, and possibly a passport.

We’ll have to see how that goes.

You follow the news, don’t you … ?

You’ll possibly be aware that various protestors have been blocking various roads: with recent groups being removed from the Dartford Crossing.

In one famous incident?   Protestors were dragged from the roof of a train: and seriously assaulted.

I’ve been a commuter.

It’s 18:30 on a Friday evening, and some [insert insult here]* is standing on my train home, trying to save a whale?

I’d be handing the protestors a kicking, as well.

As much as I generally support the cause?   Think working to reduce environment damage is a genuine public good?

Stopping people get home, or to work?

Causes genuine anger: to the point where protestor have been hurt.   And will no doubt get hurt, again.

So … ?

Noticing that a high court judge has issued an injunction: to stop Just Stop Oil protestors?

I, personally, can only applauded that judge.

He’s prevented a lot of anger: and, I suspect, a lot of assaults.
