Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 2-3-2020: Old Texas

2rd March, 2020.

Ye lord, I’m tired …

Perils of late night blogging.   About Dr Who.

What can I tell you … ?

At ANY rate … ?

At any rate, it’s my birthday on Wednesday: and I got treated to a meal and a ten pin bowling session.

Jude was happy: Mummy managed to beat both of us … !

At ANY rate … ?

Ruth’s got a spare laptop: one running Windows Seven.

Which, given the OS is no longer receiving security update?   She’s ask me to put an alternative on.

I think I should be able to do that …

I just need to pick up the power cable!

Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 7th November, 2017

Mmmm …

Someone’s going to mention it, aren’t they?

I’ll admit that I’m a fan of Apple products: so know that the iPhone X launch went well, was nice to know.

I’m also aware that — in the recent Paradise Papers leak — they’ve been found to have shopped around various UK off-shore tax-havens: to find the best deal for them.

And been sheltering profits in Jersey.

Personally?

Yes, OK: I can see that’s an argument for making an example of Apple.

But I suspect that they — like any other business on the planet — is behaving the same way other businesses are.

They are, after all, in it for the money.

In other news?

In other news, I’ve got to confess: my tooth still hurts!

I’ve got my next dentist’s appointment on Thursday morning.

I’m very aware I’m in for an hour: hopefully for an extraction, and certainly for a scale and polish.

It’s going to be a rough morning, I know that much.

But, frankly?

If it makes eating more comfortable, I’m laughing.

Once the anaesthetic wheres off!

Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 7-11-2016

Phew … !

I have to admit, the new job is going rather well: and is also quite enjoyable.

But, my word … !

Yesterday was non-stop: complete with phones going off, left right and centre.

Quite something to dig into.

Oh, by the way …

Did I tell you I’ve been watching Humans?   At least, the first two episodes of series two.

I have to saw, while I’m not reviewing it — in the same way I did the first series — I am enjoying it.

Now the show has an established set of characters*?

The actual drama seems to be developing.
