Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem — A Review

12th January, 2024: the Introduction.

Right … in amongst everything else … ?

It’s Friday.

And?

I think I’m going to be watching a movie: I fancy something silly, to be frank.

Silly or not?

I’ll let you know more, tomorrow.

Just as a quick point?

I’ve recently learnt that superstar DJ, Annie Nightingale, has died.

That’s sad to hear: as Radio 1’s first female DJ, she was a trailblazer.

I’ll possibly say more in the morning.

But will leave you with songs she introduced me too, many years ago.

I’ll see you in the morning.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Now, THAT’S Fun … !

5th March, 2015.

You know, it’s not often I do this.

No, really.

I don’t: not often.

Which has possibly got you wondering what the HELL I’m talking about, hasn’t it?

Well, if you hadn’t guessed, it’s not that often I watch two films in the space of the one week.

This week?

This week, I have, though.

What’s more … ?   The two films in question are both very good: and very different.

Monday … ?   Well, on Monday, I managed to catch the murky — and really, very good — Australian horror film, The Babadook.

Tonight, on the other hand … ?

Tonight, though, I caught something else I’d been meaning to watch.

The 2014 release that is … Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

It’s as different from The Babadook as a film can be.

Just as good: but very different … and a lot of fun.
