At any rate, I managed to catch Patient Seven, last night.

It’s possible not the best horror anthology I’ve seen.

But it is fun: and an entertaining watch.

Just as a quick point?

You’ll possibly realise I’m something of a news hound: following the news of the 3-d printed gun in the US with a certain amount of worry.

The makers, Defence Distributed, believe that selling the designs of three-d printable guns, online is a good thing.

I don’t.

I think a lot of people agree with me.

Including at least one US court: that’s banned them from selling the plans, online.

Defence Distributed have worked out how to get around that.

By selling USB memory sticks … with the plans on them … by mail order … 

There’s always one, isn’t there … ?

The Daily Teaser — 29-8-2014

Hmmm … 

That’s awkward: the plumber didn’t turn up … !

I have to confess, I had a plumber booked up for yesterday: to fix a leaky u-bend.

Not a big repair.   Well … not one that needed fixing in a hurry, or that couldn’t be dealt with by putting a bucket under the leak.

Still, it was booked.   I was in, ready and waiting … 

And they never came.

It seems they had a couple of emergency call outs to deal with, first … !

Well, I say never turned up.

I WILL give my landlord’s credit: for sending me a text message to let me know when the plumber WAS on the way.

Five minutes before I was due to head for the Job Centre, to do my daily job search.   Which, unless I want to lose my benefit, is something I can’t miss.

Yeah … awkward … 

Awkward … 

But at least I’ve managed to rebook the visit.
