I’ve got another earworm, this morning.

It’s my own damn fault: I had a sudden mental image of a reporter, and her camera crew, turning up to report on people who are dancing.

And … ?

Bam: I get DJ Casper turning up … 

Alongside a bunch of line dancing Chicagoans, and a camera crew …

Hmmm ...

I have to admit: I've had another donor put some cash into the repair fund.

They know who they are: and have been suitably thanked!

But saying 'Thank You', again, today?

Does seem a good idea.

I have to confess, though, I am extremely nervous about the repair: which is due to be completed on Friday.

Will the shop be able to do anything?

At what cost?

Will my iMac be in working order when I get it home?

Will it work in the shop?

But not on my desk?

Will the oh-so-important back-up drives still work?

I'm feeling very anxious about this.

I rely on that machine for my digital life, and as a source of entertainment, so much that it being in for repair is definitely causing anxiety!

I can only hope that, come Friday?

All is well!

Yep: it’s officially official.

I’m up, early.

Because?

I’ve got my nephew, Jude, over, today: comparatively early.

I have a sneaking suspicion videos will be made!

I was never a huge one for the British Ska revival of the 1980s.

That’s not to say it produced bad music: that it didn’t.

At the front of the pack … ?

Were a Coventry based band called The Specials: who produced quite a few hits.

Sadly?

Specials front man, Terry Hall, died yesterday, at the age of 63: after ‘a short disease.’

He’s going to be missed.

Did you notice it’s Monday … ?

You possibly had.

I definitely had!

It’s a Monday: in the week leading up to Christmas Day.

I’ve wrapped most of my presents: bar one.

And, frankly, that’s going to get done, today: along side a few videos.

I’ve ALSO got to admit: I get paid on Thursday.

I’ve got to go to Chelmsford, that day: so I’ve been frantically checking that the places I need to visit on Christmas Eve, will be.

I don’t know about you, but I still need to shop!

Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s been caught — metaphorically — with his pants down.

He and a group of friends were snapped — last May, in the height of Lockdown — having a drinks do in the back garden of №10.

That’s Boris, bottom right.

№10 says it’s a work meeting.

It’s not like any I’ve been to!

In the interests of balance?

I have to mention Piers Corbyn: brother of former Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn.

He’s been arrested: for what he calls ‘direct action’ … but what the BBC calls Arson.

Against MPs: or their offices, at least.

Can I make a suggestion to Mr Corbyn?   It’s something Mr Johnson may wish to pay attention to.

If you don’t want to be arrested for this sort of thing, don’t do it on camera.

Or, to quote an old saying?

If you don’t want the time, don’t do the crime.

Yes: the morning’s started off better than yesterday.

Well … 

In theory, better than yesterday.

Bar the television playing up.

As far as I can tell?

The communal aerial is having problems!

Argh!

Is that my sister, Anna, gave me a few quid: to refill my freezer with.   She got a very big thank you!

I’ve got enough to last until payday, and some potatoes … 

And a jar of Marmite, as well.

So that’s something.

Yes: it’s officially official.

I’ve got an interview, today.

And … ?

I have to admit I’m having a certain amount of déjà vu.

As I’ve had an interview with this company, before.

Which didn’t go well.

No, it’s not the  bookies I was interviewed by, earlier this year, it’s a local insurance company.

One I was interviewed by, last years.

I have to admit, I’m nervous: as ever.

But also convinced that — given I didn’t get the job last time — that I won’t get the job, this time.   And that going, this time, won’t be worth the effort.

Yep: the word for the day is drones … !

The reason it’s drones?

Is Radio 4.

Basically, I’ve woken up this morning, turned on the TV — as ever, I’ve got Radio Four’s Today programme on — only to be told by Justin Webb that Gatwick airport had been closed.

Because someone’s been flying a drone, over the runway, since nine o’clock, last night.

It’s been creating havoc.

On the other hand?

It’s the first thing to knock Brexit off of the headlines in weeks …

The one good thing I can say about today … ?

Is that;

• I’ve a phone interview, this evening.
• I’ve got all the stuff I need to send off for my drivers license.

OK, granted: it’s going off in the middle of the Christmas Card Rush.

But, hopefully?

It — and the various bits and bobs I’ve sent off to get it — will be with me soon.

Possibly relaxing, possibly not.

And possibly better — or worse — than things I’ve done.

No, I’m not talking about some of them.

The good stuff involved one or two other people.

Just involved me making a twit of myself.

At ANY rate … ?

The possible things … ?

Include watching a movie.

Maybe a TV box set: I still have a handful to start.

Teaser videos are something I’ve enough of, to be going on with.

Until, of course, the thought occurred.

I’ve got today off.

Which is nice, when you think about it.

I have something of a conundrum, though.

What … to do … 

With my evening … 

OK, I’m going to write a Teaser or or two: the 2017 Review needs doing, I know that!

And possibly get some videos done.

And house work … 

I don’t have to worry about wrapping presents, those are done and safely hidden.

Oh, I have to phone my agency: one or two quibbles about when time sheets get handed in.

But what to do with an evening … ?

We’ll have to see …
