I think we can say I had an evening, last night: one with not a lot of sleep.

For various reasons.

I think I really need to learn various thing: including how not to get mugged off!

And … ?

Looking forward to tonight’s episode: which features a returning Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson.)

I’m also very aware the Mark Williams vs Judd Trump semi-final could be interesting.

Especially as whoever gets through will not be facing Ronnie O’Sullivan, the game’s greatest player, but Zhao Xintong: the man who beat him.

This could be a Chinese player’s year.

Yep: I have a chance, tomorrow: to get some sleep!

Frankly?   I’ll be looking forward to it.

The same way I look forward to tons of stuff.

Apparently?

NASA’s planned James Webb Telescope could find signs of extraterrestrial life.

How, I’m blowed if I could tell you.

But it’s something to keep an eye on.

Did we tell you Sandi Tokvig happy?   As she earn’s — in her own words — a ‘comfortable living.’

She said that in a response to a question at the Women’s Equality Party conference, a few days ago.

Seemingly, she gets some two fifths (2/5) — forty percent (40%) — of the pay of predecessor, Stephen Fry.

Personally?

I know she’s generally happy about her income.

But I’m mildly put out.

I’m a Dr Who fan: one hoping Jodie Whittaker’s on the same, comparative, pay as Christopher Ecclestone, David Tennant, Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi.

She’s doing the same job, after all.

Sandy’s doing Stephen Fry’s old job: visibly, and very capably.

She should be getting exactly the same pay.

Boy, I’m looking forward to Sunday, though.

There was a piece of news that caught my eye, the other day.

It seems noted blogger, Logan Paul, has decided to slow down on his daily YouTube posts.

I envy his advertising revenue, I really do.

But, on the other hand?

Keep thinking “Ya wimp … !”

He should maybe keep doing something for a decade!

Did I tell you that — at work — we’ve been mugging people?

Well … 

Collecting money for charity, I should say!   (The UN’s World Food Programme, so you know.)

Basically, you give us staff members a pound — or change equivalent to a pound — and we give you a straw with a piece of paper in it.

Which doesn’t sound like much, I know.

But potentially?   You stand a chance of winning some free food: your prize is written on the bit of paper.

All good.

Especially from my point of view.

I’ve managed to bag £523 for charity!

OK, it’s not much.

But I was impressed with myself … !!
