9th September, 2018.
Yep: I have a chance, tomorrow: to get some sleep!
Frankly? I’ll be looking forward to it.
The same way I look forward to tons of stuff.
Which is a clumsy intro to this piece on the BBC’s website.
Apparently?
NASA’s planned James Webb Telescope could find signs of extraterrestrial life.
How, I’m blowed if I could tell you.
But it’s something to keep an eye on.

Did we tell you Sandi Tokvig happy? As she earn’s — in her own words — a ‘comfortable living.’
She said that in a response to a question at the Women’s Equality Party conference, a few days ago.
Seemingly, she gets some two fifths (2/5) — forty percent (40%) — of the pay of predecessor, Stephen Fry.
Personally?
I know she’s generally happy about her income.
But I’m mildly put out.
I’m a Dr Who fan: one hoping Jodie Whittaker’s on the same, comparative, pay as Christopher Ecclestone, David Tennant, Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi.
She’s doing the same job, after all.
Sandy’s doing Stephen Fry’s old job: visibly, and very capably.
She should be getting exactly the same pay.

Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with both scoring five out of five.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

And a song …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Have a good day.
* I’ve been there, Olga: I’m just grateful for catch up services and internet TV, I really am! (Which reminds me, I think El Ministerio del Tiempo is on Netflix. Here’s hoping I can find the time … !)
† Oh, Yes! By the way, Debbi, did you catch the Whoops trailer? I don’t know if you ever caught The Crystal Maze‡, but I keep expecting Richard O’Brian to turn up. (Oh, about those food days the US has …)
‡ I’ve not caught up with the Richard Ayoede host version: lack of time, unfortunately.

Q3) The RUC (Royal Ulster Constabulary)
Q4) Elizabeth II
Q5) The Double Ninth Festival
I hope you can catch up with the Ministerio del Tiempo. I agree with you about Sandy's salary. I like her a lot. She's clever, deadpan and very funny. It is a double whammy that they are seen as giving more opportunities to women and being more diverse while at the same time saving money. An outrage.
You mean that's NOT Richard O'Brien? He could be his double. :)

2. Absolutely Fabulous (funny show)
3. RUC
