Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 11th September, 2018.

11th September, 2018.

Yes …

Now I come to look at that video … ?

I’m thinking that’s possibly a poor choice of filter.

It ode make my face look a bit … you know …

Chunky … !

That’s possibly besides the point.

Potatoes or otherwise, I did managed to have a day off, yesterday.

And caught more episodes of American Horror Story, last night.

I think we can say Cult is far from chunky!

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with Debbi scoring six out of six, and Olga on five.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video …

Q1) 11th September is Emergency Number Day in the US.   What IS the US emergency number?
Q2) Which icy continent also uses that number?

Q5) 11th September, 1978, saw the death of dissident, Georgi Markov: stabbed with a weaponised umbrella by a secret agent from his own country.   Which country WAS that?
Q6) Finally … 11th September is feast day of Saint Deniol.   He was the first bishop of which Welsh town: Bangor, Brecon or Llandaff?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

A1) Kazan.
Q2) During the what: First World War, Russian Civil War or Ukrainian War of Independence?

Here’s a thought …
“A straw vote only shows which way the hot air blows.”
From A Ruler of Men, O. Henry, September 11, 1862 – June 5, 1910.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Have a good day.

*        Yeah … about that holiday, Olga … ?   I think I’ve pronounced it wrong … … … … !   (Yeah, the Sandwich Quiz is a bit old: but fondly remembered …)

†        Yeah … I know, Debbi, I know!   :D   (Actually?   When I worked at one pub, the pepper/peppercorn sauce used to be very popular.   Messy … but popular.)
