17th October, 2023: Legalising Cannabis.

Right … it’s officially the case that I have a fixed washing machine.

At any rate … ?

The repair man — from a local company called Mackfields — was over, yesterday afternoon.

And managed to fix the machine.

The error code I initially noticed — F05 — was correct: there was a blockage in the drain pipe.

With that cleared, suggestions for cleaning regular, and a demonstration of how to use the temperature control, done*?

I now have a functioning machine!

The Daily Teaser — 18-2-2015

 You know, I have to admit to having written — and printed out — a letter, last night.

Because … ?

Well, someone in my block likes their cannabis: and has been having a joint or two.

Personally … ?

I’ve no objection to that.

I DO object when I can smell the stuff in my flat.

And get numb lips and a mild headache as a result.

THAT I object to.

My answer … ?   Was to send a (very polite) letter to everyone in my building, to say so: and ask if whoever WAS using to just be a little more discreet.   And maybe close some windows.

Blimey, there’s a thing … !

Bless him, survival expert, Ray Mears, has been doing a three part series about the natural environment of the USA.

And … ?

Well, he’s just been doing a bit about stagecoach travel across the various bits of Arizona’s desert.

I’m just betting anyone travelling in the bloody things would’ve been glad when train travel became a viable alternative.

The trains would have been a LOT less cramped than the coach.

That’s not why I’d’ve taken the former.

No.

It strikes me the trains would’ve had something the stagecoach didn’t.

An on-board toilet …
