Right … it’s official: I’ve reviewed the first episode of Star Trek Strange New World’s most recent series.
And … ?
Thus far, “Valles Marineris” is the best episode of the series, thus far.
Although, yes: it’s the only one I’ve seen.
On a less silly note?
Saffron Burrows, as Commander Cassel, is well worth watching.
And can’t be called the villain of the piece: she’s way too sympathetic.

On Sunday just gone … ?
I told you there’s a film version of C. S. Lewis’ The Magician’s Nephew been made.
And that I’d had my doubts about one bit of casting.
But … ?
I’ve since seen the trailer.
And … ?
I’m mildly interested.
I’m also thinking that if the director of the piece — Barbie director, Greta Gerwig — can make a success of this, she’s got a job for life …
Let’s move on.
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with both scoring five out of five.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Hello, Mum! (5/5, yesterday: well done!)
† It’s on Paramount+ in the US, Debbi‡: and a Sky channel, here. And Pirate Bay, KAT, Torrent Galaxy and 1337x, everywhere else. Not that I use them, obviously …
King Edward’s death wasn’t that long ago: it’s only been ninety-six decades. (Apparently, Brentwood’s oldest pub dates back to 1380. The oldest church — or ruins of a church, anyway — is in Brentwood High Street: I think Trevor and I showed you that, when you and Rick visited.)
‡ Using Transmission to download torrents — like the ones offered by many legitimate, open source, software vendors — is surprisingly easy, Debbi.
Downloading and installing TorBrowser, and using it to access torrent tracking sites like Pirate Bay, KAT, Torrent Galaxy and 1337x, is an incredibly fiddly job. I’m told. I don’t know: I’ve never done it … guv …

I love it when people comment. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively adult. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
If you can also leave you comments on today’s Teaser Video, that would be good.
Thank you.
