27th October, 2026: Godzilla.
Did I mention I was writing a review, last night?
I was writing a review, last night: of “Human Best Friend”, the most recent episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds that I’ve caught.
It’s a very funny episode, I should add: with a couple of scenes that put me in mind of The Hitch-hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
So … ?
I got the thing finished, and wandered over to … whatever website it was …
Only to be hit in the face with the news: that Walter Koenig, best remembered as Pavel Chekov from Star Trek, and also as Alfred Bester from Babylon 5, had died at the age of ninety.
That’s sad: the man will be much missed!
Let’s move on.
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, James† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum and James on four.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?
Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.
The next ten question sets are on the 8th, 10th and 19th November: they’re about Monty Python’s Life of Brian, All Quiet on the Western Front and Quatermass and the Pit.
Your comments, and today’s answers, will be published in tomorrow’s Teaser.
AI is avoided when writing these questions.
Answers are as accurate as possible: at the time of writing.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.

* Hello, Mum! (It was 1863, Mum, rather than 1862.)
† Hello, James, welcome aboard! Just so you know, the correct answer to yesterday’s fourth question was 1863, rather than 1864: but well done on the score.
Oh, if you do want to come back, you would be very welcome: but would you mind including a social media link? It’s easy enough to do on the desktop: and in the mobile version of Google Chrome.
‡ Actually, it’s another three, Debbi: on the 8th, 10th and 19th November. I think you’ll like the first one … !
That’s a very posh looking building your grandparents lived in: I’m assuming it’s got the US equivalent of Listed status … ?

I love it when people comment. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively adult. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
If you can also leave you comments on today’s Teaser Video, that would be good.
Thank you.
