Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 26th October 2026

26th October, 2026.

Right, then …

It’s Monday.

Which means that I’m off to my usual weight management course.

Given I’d gained weight, last week, I’m hoping I’ve lost some, this week.

If you could keep your fingers crossed for me, that would be nice!

~≈⚖️≈~

On a related front … ?

And on three different medications as a result.

A relevant one?

Is Mounjaro, a once-a-week shot that helps my blood sugar levels: and is supposed to help me reduce my weight.

I’m on 5mg at the moment.

But, given my weight’s been going slowly upwards, over the past few weeks?

I’ve requested an increase to 7.5mg.

After recent discussions with my GP’s pharmacist?

That’s been agreed to: with the proviso that I only request the new batch once the current batch is finished.

I’m looking forward to that … !

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Hello, Mum!   (The answers were 1975 and 2000, Mum, not 2000 and 1975: I think you got one and two the wrong way around.)

†        Tomorrow’s another biggie, Debbi: it’s about Godzilla.   Or Gojira.   Or whatever we’re calling him, this week … !
I had to say it, Debbi, I’m getting a bigger response from the shorts: on YouTube AND Instagram!

I love it when people comment. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively adult. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

If you can also leave you comments on today’s Teaser Video, that would be good.

Thank you.

*   I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
