Looks like its officially official. They’ve found some.
I’m burbling, aren’t I … ?
If you’re a fan of shows like Dr Who — ones that have been in production foe some time — you’ll be aware that, back in the 1960s and early 1970s, the BBC would wipe old episode from shows it then considered unimportant, from valuable, expensive, but very re-usable, video tape.
Which, obviously, means there’s a lot of episodes missing.
It’s also been rumoured — for some time — that some have been found.
Something that the BBC have confirmed: saying, in a press conference, yesterday, that “A number of early episodes of Doctor Who … have been returned to the BBC.”
Seemingly, the BBC is to confirm the find, later this week.
Keep your fingers crossed, folks: this could be good.
