The Death of Stalin — A Review

11th February, 2020.

You know … the job hunting is really going badly.

Honestly.

I would’ve expected something to turn up, by now.

Unfortunately?

I’ve had not a blessed sausage.

Not even a vegetarian one!

It’s …

It’s depressing, to be honest.

I’m coping, I’m looking forward to eventually landing a job …

But, lord, it’s hard work!

At any rate … ?

I’ve been able to keep myself occupied.

I don’t have much money: but do have a collection of movies, sitting around: ripped from the occasional DVD, and blu-ray.

And able to rent and streaming both the occasional TV show … and the occasional movie.

The latter is something I’ve done, tonight.

Yes: I’ve watched a movie that’s been in my collection for a while.

The 2017 film, The Death of Stalin.

Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 12th January, 2019

12th January, 2019

Yes: it’s official.

The Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency has sent my application for back … again.

As, apparently, they need more information about my various addresses.

I wouldn’t mind except:

  • This is the third time I’ve sent the details in.
  • The details were included in the original cover letter I sent in: twice!
  • Yes, I’m annoyed.

    Yes, I’m feeling sarcastic.

    Yes …

This is taking a while …

Penny Dreadful — Series 2 - Episodes 9 & 10: And Hell Itself Is My Only Foe & And They Were Enemies …

You know, that’s going to be frustrating.

There’s going to be a bit of a gap, until the airing of series 3!

    Arrgghh!

As you might have noticed, I tend to like a good TV series.

For, of course, a given value of ‘good,’ ‘TV’ and ‘series,’ obviously.

And, over the past few weeks?   I’ve been binge watching the box-sets of series one and two of Penny Dreadful.

In fact, I’ve watched Series two, over the past few days: watching episodes nine and ten — And Hell Itself Is My Only Foe and And They Were Enemies — tonight

    I’ve come to one conclusion.

    Quite simply this.

    Penny Dreadful’s bloody FANTASTIC!
