Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 30th September, 2022.

30th September, 2022.

Yes: it’s officially Friday.

Which means I have a quiet day: with little on, but making videos.

And possibly buying some bread.

I’ll probably leave that ’til tomorrow: that’s when I need milk.

At any rate … ?

I think a nice healthy walk’s a good idea!

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with every scoring five out of five.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.

Q1)        30th September is the (Roman Catholic) feast day of Saint Gregory the Illuminator.   He’s the patron saint of where: Albania, Armenia or Austria?

Q2)        30th September, 1938, saw the UK’s Prime Minister claim to have made ‘peace in our time’: after an agreement with Nazi Germany.   Which Prime Minister: Stanley Baldwin, Neville Chamberlain or Winston Churchill?

Q3)        Botswana became independent on 30th September, 1966.   From where?

Q4)        Buddy Rich was born on 30th September, 1917.   What instrument did he play: drums, guitar or bass?

Q5)        Finally … ?   30th September, 1951, saw the birth of writer and producer, John Lloyd.   He currently presents The Museum of Curiosity.   On which BBC radio station?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Q1)        29th September is World Heart Day.   The heart pumps what around the body?
A1)        Blood.

Q2)        The heart is what O: organ, oasis or object?
A2)        An organ.

Q3)        The human heart is in the what: head, neck or chest?
A3)        The chest.

Q4)        How many chambers does the human heart have: two, three or four?
A4)        Four.

Q5)        Finally … ?   The human heart has four what: valves, screws or nuts?
A5)        Valves.
Here’s a thought …
“If you really want to learn about a person, play a round of golf with him or her.”
Johnny Mathis (born September 30, 1935)
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Yep, they’re still going that, Olga: my next one’s should be in February.   If I’ve understood it correctly, this was to check if I needed any extra monitoring.   About the one thing the podiatrist — and my regular foot care specialist — have suggested, is getting some urea based foot cream: which will have to wait a few days, I think.   (I just searched for some on Sainsbury’s website.   The results included two different packets of Bourbon cream biscuits …)
Yeah: Sex Lives of the Potato Men could feature, somewhere.   We’ll just have to see if there’s a World Potato Day, at some point!
        Sneaking?   Sneaking?????!!?   Ha!

        Hello, Mum!

B♮?   I can’t be natural, Debbi: my blood group’s B+ … !   Sorry, sorry … !   As for the film … ?   I’m trying to avoid it like the proverbial plague!

Yes, that makes sense. And the urea cream as well.
