*        I hate to say it, Olga … but the flag of Alabama doesn’t have an eagle on it.   The Alabama Governor’s flag does!

        The parade sounds fun: will you be dressing up as a coal miner, again?

        Hmmm … will you be pouring the wine, or the beer?   The best I can do is tell you to keep the glass at 45º, don’t dip the nozzle into the beer and shaking the glass when you start pouring can help form the head.   Oh, and if you can manage the two part pour for a Guinness, you should be able to draw pictures in the head.   I used to do three leaf clovers, four leaf clovers, Daleks, Cybermen, West Ham logos, and five pointed stars^.   Um …

‡        If it’s any help, Debbi?   There’s only another twelve states to go … once New Mexico’s done.   Even as I say that … … … !

        Oh, I’ve another film review, tonight: although I don’t know if the film will be up your street.   (It’s Prey, the recent entry in the Predator franchise.   As the main character is Comanche, they’ve done a Comanche language dub of the thing.   That’s the oddest bit of marketing I’ve seen!)

^        Oh, I get the impression some versions of the Catalan flag have five-pointed stars on them, Olga: if you want to impress people by drawing on a Guinness, that’s a nice simple design to start with.
