Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 27-4-2023 — Mary Wollstonecraft.

27th April, 2023: Mary Wollstonecraft.

Right … I think I need to get to the High Street, again.

I THINK I have a thing or two that need to go back to Amazon.

And then replaced … by teatowels.

It’s amazing how mucky they get.

~≈🜄≈~

I was there, yesterday, I should add: in Brentwood Library.

Scanning in a bunch of paperwork that I think I’ll need for a PIP claim.

Hopefully?

It’ll help!

These things are always a gamble, aren’t they?

~≈🜄≈~

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.

The day also saw Trevor§ leaving us a message.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.

Mary Wollstonecraft.
And a video …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Hello, Mum!

        Will do, Olga!
Oh, did I mention I’m reading Randall Munroe’s How To, after you suggested it?   It’s an interesting read … but the font is off-puttingly small!   It must be ten-point sized.   The only other time I’ve read something that small was a role-playing game called Traveller.   And that was thirty years ago, when my eyes were a lot younger!

‡        I’m with you there, Debbi: happy birthday, Trevor!   At any rate, Debbi, did I tell you I’ve been reading an old Judge Dredd story called The Cursed Earth?   The uncensored version?   I’ve JUST got to the bit with the Jolly Green Giant!

§        Happy birthday, again, Trevor.

I find Mary Wollstonecraft fascinating. I do most of my reading these days in e-book format, so I have no idea how big or small the print might be, as you can adjust the size. It is very handy, because my eyesight is shot to bits (for close reading. Distance is not that bad, although it is not as good as it once was either, but is to be expected. I'll be 58 next week, after all!)
I hope your hard work has good results. You are right, one never knows, but it is worth trying. Fingers crossed!

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
