A5)Five of a kind. (You usually need to be playing a version that uses wild cards: four aces and a joker would count as five of a kind, assuming jokers were wild. There’s also a bug: a specialised wild card that usually represents an ace.)
Here’s a thought …
“With that kind of money, I could have invaded some country.”
Clint Eastwood, speaking of the cost of making a film.
† Yeah … the NHS is broken up into four organisations, isn’t it, Olga? One for each home nation. I’m assuming the Spanish equivalent would be the same: is that right … ?
It can be confusing, can’t it? I worked with a woman from Glasgow, many years ago: and when she was excited? Well … !
‡ Nope: it’s the wild cards, Debbi. The hand can crop up in any game were there’s a wild card!
Yeah, sorry about the questions: I couldn’t do the man justice with just five questions. Oh, I’m pencilling in ten questions sets for 15th June and 7th July, about Arkansas and the NHS: but I’ll let you know for sure, once I’ve penned them.
Q10) Changeling Well, health is supposed to be managed by each Comunidad Autónoma (there are 17 in Spain, not only the historical ones, like Catalonia, the Basque Country and Galicia, but all the rest of the country is divided up as well)but there are things that are decided at a higher level, although yes, the hospitals, the salaries of health staff, etc, are not the same everywhere. I've read books and watched movies featuring poker, but I can't say I understand it or have ever tried to play it.
Well, at least most of the answers are short-ish. :)

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
