* The sports team joined in, Olga? I’d imagine the divisive issues would be whether the politicians are FC Barcelona, or RCD Espanyol, fans: those old firm derbies can be murder!
At any rate? It sounds like someone had a very good day!
† Hello, Mum!
‡ I’ll keep my fingers crossed you can get a good price on a new one, Debbi, if and when. (You should qualify for a business discount, if that’s any help!)
Q5) Paris No, the interviews were not about sports, they were general. The sports guys do that programme, but they are journalists, and as the interviewees came during the time they were the hosts of the live programme, it made sense for them to do the interviews. (I imagine that must have been discussed beforehand, but as I didn't take part in the organising, I don't know). Yes, you're right, that could have been a divisive issue, but Espanyol is struggling so much to keep afloat... And, to tell you the truth, the enmity has never been quite as bad as in other places (or perhaps it is, but as I am not into football I haven't noticed). Real Madrid and Barcelona, yes. That is another matter. I hope you enjoy the bank holiday.
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
