“In March 2024, Teixeira pleaded guilty to six counts of willful retention and transmission of national defense information; he will be sentenced in [ … ] 2024§.”
* Yes, you did mention, Olga! I’ll keep my fingers crossed that it’s nothing serious. Just make sure you stay off the coffee, OK … ?
† Hello, Mum!
‡ I’d imagine that IS a downside to the place, Debbi: the cost of courses, there. I think both my sisters are glad they went to Uni in Liverpool: the living costs are lower, if nothing else!
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you, then! Hopefully, being a scientific guinea pig will pay off!
Q5) September Thanks, Paul. I don't drink coffee or tea, and these days I don't drink much coke either, so... Let's hope that helps. They have posted already a PDF of the test, although they told me the actual report will take three weeks. It doesn't look too bad to me, but I'm not a specialist in cardiology, so we'll have to wait and see. (And I'll have to change my appointment with the GP, because I had booked the appointment sooner, thinking we would get the results earlier).
I just finished a really fun book. It's called The Doorman, and I think you might like it. Maybe. Perhaps. It's like Indiana Jones meets Douglas Adams. Kinda. :)
And it was written by a British man now living in Maryland. Could explain a few things.

And you know how I feel about them! :)

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
