Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* It sounds a bit like what’s happened, here, Olga: the local council wards got re-organised for the local election. It’s not quite the same, though! We don’t do street parties … !
At any rate, I hope the day went well! (Oh, Spain came in 22nd at Eurovision: four places below the UK.)
† Hello, Mum!
‡ I always preferred “Baba O’Riley”, Debbi: that keyboard riff is something else! (You don’t have access to Disney⁺? Ok … the packages might be appreciated … )
Q5) Italy I didn't watch Eurovision and was wondering, but as I didn't hear anything about it, I imagined it hadn't done very well. It seems the UK didn't do too good on the popular vote, though, but, to be honest, I haven't heard the UK song or any of the others apart from the Spanish one, and that was enough.
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
