* Hello, Mum!
† Well … I was thinking of Vivienne Rook, Debbi‡: in Years and Years! On top of that? Given the episode was filmed in Wales, and had no title sequence? I was also thinking of “Living In Harmony”. Although “Living in Harmony” didn’t have the pub from An American Werewolf in London!
Now … did the ambulances in “Boom” look like the war machines in “The War Machines”? Or was that just me?
‡ Oh, cheers for the comment on the review, Debbi. And I hope today’s set’s manageable! (The next ten question set’s on the 1st June!)
Q10) The Wicker Man It was good to learn more about Sir Christopher Lee. What an interesting man! Have you done one on Peter Cushing? I can't recall... I hope you enjoy the day off... I am having the class with Jordi tomorrow, as he was going to the doctors with his wife today. He's promised an update on the situation tomorrow. I'll keep you posted.
There is a definite resemblance. Intentional? Maybe. Perhaps they upgraded the design a bit. For modern audiences.
1. 1922 2. Hammer 3. Dracula 4. The Man with the Golden Gun 5. Roger Moore 6. Ian Fleming (That's interesting!) 7. Peter Cushing 8. Fu Manchu 9. Saruman 10. The Wicker Man
Is there any kind of commentary on the British and the Welsh in 73 Yards? Or is that just me? :)
Doctor Who seems to have returned to form, so to speak. I'm enjoying it!
Just in case I can't catch up later (I have a class with Jordi but later than usual), I thought I'd leave you some pictures from Saturday's event. Of course, being busy at the radio stall I missed a lot of what went on... https://www.el3.cat/noticia/95984/el-firentitats-de-sants-hostafrancs-i-la-bordeta-torna-a-omplir-de-gom-a-gom-els-carrers-d
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
