Here’s a thought …
“The Labour Party are going to bring in a law that means you can go everywhere you want in the country. I have checked this with two people and they both said it was true.”
* Well … … that weight’s back up, Olga: just enough to cancel the amount I lost, last week. Did you ever hear the phrase “swings and roundabouts”? That’s exactly what my weight’s doing! I can only hope Jordi’s wife has an easier time of it!
† Hello, Mum!
‡ Happy birthday, Debbi! I hope the colonoscopy goes well! (I’ve had one, myself: the actual procedure isn’t bad … compared to the laxatives!)
§ Dame Barbara obviously spent time talking to the man in the pub … !
Q5) a church. York Minster is very impressive. As you drive up to the city, from afar, you can see it white, up there. Although it is not my favourite cathedral, it is beautiful. (Thinking about it, I’m not sure what my favourite cathedral is. I like Durham’s cathedral, but I am sure there are plenty I haven’t seen yet that could be my favourite ones. And I also like small churches and very ancient ones). Sorry about the weight. So many things come into play. Jordi’s wife is doing well. She came back from the physiotherapy session while we were doing the lesson and she was showing us her progress, and only after three sessions she has recovered a lot of mobility already, so it is looking good. She’ll have to work to recover muscle mass, but they are quite outdoorsy and enjoy going out for walks and also visiting their children, and with two young granddaughters, I’m sure she’ll be busy.
Oh, I wanted to share the link to the picnic I covered on Saturday, as I went to the radio station in the afternoon and the news item made it into the programme in the evening. I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
