“… the New York City Subway is one of the world's oldest public transit systems, one of the most-used, and the one with the most stations …”.
† I’m glad to hear a doctor say that, Olga! There’s worse on the way, as well: check these out! (One venue in China has a pest room for women. I’m saying nothing!)
Did the tablecloth offer to explode … ?
‡ They’re popular, here, too, Debbi! I’m just wondering where the US English term comes from.
I’m going to be experimenting with 4k teaser videos, Debbi: handily, Keynote can export slides at 4K resolution. I think that will help the process: as my copy of iMovie seems to be picky …
§ Did they just use the F-word in that version? I don’t remember hearing that in the movie!
Q5) the government of New York City No, thankfully the tablecloth didn't promise to explode any parts of the body. toasters and other household appliances that heat up (food or the place) are the most likely to cause problems with the fuses. It depends on how much power you have on the contract. We reduced ours when the prices went up, but then discovered we couldn't have the normal oven and the microwave on at the same time. (Mind you, it's just a matter of thinking what you have on at any given time). I remember the old fuses you had to change by hand, and I also had to change the box in the house I bought in Penistone.
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.

I’ve JUST had a look at the movie of the song: apparently, the word is ‘bugging’. I was wondering about that … !

It's odd to answer questions whilst listening to songs from "West Side Story". Most peculiar.
