Granted, the volume buttons are on the wrong side: they’re used to take screen shots, as well as control the volume, so that makes taking screenshots awkward.

* I was definitely relieved, Olga: and the actual setup went well enough. A lot better that it would’ve done with older, 3g, technology. (One of my neighbours still has an old 3g phone. I’ve been teasing him for years, about it … )
Hmmm … would an umbrella be help for the hospital trip? I’ve seen a few of the neighbours using them, in the recent heatwaves …
† Hello, Mum!
‡ Good luck finding an editor, Debbi: and finishing the movie! (I’ve left a reply for you: here … )
Q5) Minecraft Good on the phone. I must say mine is quite old now, but I don't care for phones, the only problem being that they don't update the operating system any longer. I've read there are ways to do it, but it sounds complicated and not too safe... https://www.moglix.com/articles/how-to-run-a-new-android-os-on-your-outdated-android-smartphone I think we talked about the umbrellas before. There are special umbrellas that give some protection against UV rays, it seems. Usual umbrellas do very little, and because my mother uses a walking stick, it gets a bit complicated to carry two things at the same time. (I am taller than her, so carrying the umbrella for her doesn't usually work too well). I must check the umbrellas, though, but I haven't seen them advertised as such. (They have double material, different inside and outside, and the woman who was telling us about it said that the best ones can protect against about 50% of the UV rays).
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
