Yes. It's one of these things where you don't know if it is best to laugh or cry, although, according to Peret's song (a well known singer and guitar player, a gypsy from Barcelona, a pretty large and very artistic community), it's always better to laugh than to cry. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjuHDpP_oRk My mistake today has been smaller, but although I've spent most of the morning trying to cover a commerce fair, I realised when I was writing it up that I hadn't managed to ask any of the people who had attended it what they thought about it, so I'll have to go back this afternoon. Between that and trying to catch up with everything, I don't have time for the teaser. Hopefully, we have an extra hour tonight. Let's hope I can get everything done (including the review of a book I've just finished).
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.

They say laughter is the best medicine. However, it's not a miracle cure. :)
