Boredom …

You know, it’s GOT to be said … I think I’m bored …

No, seriously … !

I’ll be frank, being out of work is no fun.

You have little in the way of shape to your day: something I find posting the Teasers, every morning, helps with.

But when there’s nothing on TV, nothing on the iTunes store saying “Spend a little credit on me,” and — frankly — no money to even do something simple like heading for the nearest pub and have a mineral water.

Granted, I don’t drink: and 14 years in the bar trade does tend to take the polish from rooms full of drunk people.

But the simple fact of company — or something to do — is nice.

ARRRGGGHH’ seems to be a sensible reaction.

Hmmm …

You know, now might be a good time to start reading the book I got out of the library the other day.

William Gibson’s Pattern Recognition, here I come …

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
