Nik Nak’s Daly Teaser — 6-8-2024 — Killers.

6th August, 2024.

Right then: it’s officially official.

This Teaser post is for Tuesday: but being started on Monday.

Because?

On Tuesday, 6th August, I’ll be at Basildon Hospital: having a colonoscopy.

Hopefully?

I’ll be in the clear.

But if push comes to shove*?

This examination should find anything worrying, ahead of time.

~≈Ö≈~

Let’s move on.

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum†, Olga‡ and Debbi§ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here’s a thought …
“William Francis Kemmler [ … ] was convicted of murdering Matilda "Tillie" Ziegler, his common-law wife, a year earlier.”
From the Wikipedia entry on Kemmler.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        “Push comes to shove” is an unfortunate choice of phrase

Hello, Mum.   I’ll let you know about a lift!

‡        Hopefully, it’ll go well, Olga.   But, obviously, I’ve started today’s teaser, yesterday.   Unless it’s tomorrow’s teaser, today!   You know, language isn’t designed for this!

§        Hello, Debbi!   I’ve started this, yesterday!   Arn’t colonoscopies fun?

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
