* Blimey! Did you hear about Jo Cox, Olga? Shocking piece of news … !
† Oh, TISH, Debbi! You do it, yourself … ! :D
‡ I also note Mrs Cox did much work for refugees: and again, wonder about motivations.
Q1) New (I think there’s something missing on the question but not sure how you intended to phrase it… )
ReplyDeleteQ2) Queen Elizabeth I
Q3) Francis Drake
Q4) England
Q5) California
Yes, I heard it in the news. Terrible news. Here in Spain they were talking about David Cameron visiting Gibraltar and it seems he heard the news when he was in the air already, so he landed but didn't do any of the public events programmed. A sorry state of affairs. Indeed it's difficult to know what would motivate somebody to do something like that. And in such a brutal fashion. Stabbing and shooting a woman... And this is England where it is not quite that easy to get hold of firearms. I read there is a political organisation of sorts named 'Put Britain First' but they denied they had anything to do with that...
Rick told me about Mrs. Cox. Very tragic! :(
ReplyDeleteAll this craziness with guns. Enough!
1. new
2. Elizabeth I
3. Francis Drake
4. England (as in the White Cliffs of Dover)
5. California (Imagine confusing England with that state! Well, the White Cliffs are somewhat reminiscent of the rugged Northern California coast. You should see it someday.)
