Or, at least … I’ll fall asleep on the train …

Assuming it’s not been replaced by a bus.

Or been delayed.

Usually, the trains from Brentwood to Shenfield — that form the first part of my journey to work — aren’t delay that much.

At least, not by more than a minute or two.

On Monday, though?

We had half an hour’s wait.

Half a bloody hour.

This was compounded … 

By the fact delays, on yesterday’s trip.

A signalling failure.

In Ilford!

Yes, you’re right.

‘Bloody irritated’ isn’t the phrase!

    I hope everything is OK, Paul. Here a bit up and down. My friend's husband still waiting for his second operation that won't be until Monday. Let's hope that one sorts the problem. Catch up again soon.
