That’s possibly what’s given me a taste for it.

Episode 7 — Trompe L’Oeil — sees Bernard (Jeffery Wright) fired by Charlotte (Tessa Thompson): after she stages a demonstration that shows at least one host is capable of killing a human.
William and Dolores, (Jimmi Simpson and Evan Rachel Wood) on the other hand?
Are still travelling with Lawrence (Clifton Collins Jr). The weaponry they’re transporting, by train, across some of the wilder parts of the desert?
Makes for a very attractive target: both for Confederatoes, AND for the Ghost Nation.
Maeve, meanwhile? Maeve (Thandiwe Newton) has seen Clementine (Angela Sarafyan) taken by the park’s engineers.
And, finding her way back stage?
Has seen Clementine forcibly retired.
Some thing that makes Maeve determined to get out of the park, altogether.
Finally …
Theresa (Sidse Babett Knudsen) has a confrontation with Bernard: he is still angered after the demonstration.
It’s only the Dr Ford joins the pair, that Theresa discovers two things.
That Bernard is a host.
And that hosts … ?
Are capable of killing …

Yes …
I definitely enjoyed this episode.
There’s a nasty little twist in the tale …
And, as wonderful as the cast are, overall?
There’s some rock solid performances being put in by Thandiwe Newton: a host slowly becoming both self aware, and aware fo what’s being to her and hers.
AND by Anthony Hopkins: the man refusing to let his empire go.
You’ve probably heard how American film and TV companies like hiring UK actors.
Yes?
The impression I’ve picked up is the US media companies find them better disciplined, and usually more reliable.
And, occasionally, better actors.
I think we can definitely say that of Anthony Hopkins.
If he’s not capable of menace?
I don’t know who is …
