Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 3rd November, 2018.

3rd November, 2018.

Yep: it’s 4:45 in the morning, it’s a work day …

And?

My hair’s a mess …

It’s going thin, still the same colour it was, twenty years ago …

But an utter mess, at this time of the morning … !

Oh, talking of work … ?

I’m off to work, today.

You’d possibly already worked that out.

Normally … ?

I’d be happily getting a train.

Except under one set of circumstances.

Yep: when there’s a rail replacement service on.

There’s one, today and tomorrow, between Brentwood and Shenfield.

In the immortal words of Stanley Unwin?

Deep joy.

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with both scoring five out of five.

Adam Ant, 3 November 1954.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Have a good day.

*        Yeah: I’ve read the Jobs biography, Olga: interesting stuff, that.   I get the feeling that — had he lived — the Apple TV would’ve ended up as a smart TV set: rather than the streaming box it is now.   That part of the market could’ve looked very different, had he lived.   (Writing to Santa’s a good idea, I need a new phone … !)

†        We’ll have to see, Debbi!   :D   Which reminds me, I’ll have to set up my timer for this week’s episodes … !   I don’t know if we’ll find out about the spiders, this week: it looks a touch medical …

  1. Q1) Mexico
Q2) France (I guessed this one before I even checked. They like to do that…)
Q3) Emperor Meiji (or Meiji the Great)
    Q4) Raid on Entebbe
    Q5) The Anglican Church

That's always the question when a big innovator dies. I hope the train situation doesn't create too much chaos. Don't work too hard!

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
