Yeas … it’s back to work I go, today: after what feels like a reasonable night’s sleep.
Getting to bed when there’s fireworks going off is fun … but at least I got to read more of LeGuin’s The Left Hand of Darkness.
This morning … ?
I am, again, due to head back to work …
And, yes.
It’s the rail replacement buses, again.
The only upside? Is that I have tonight’s episode of Dr Who to look forward to!

Just as a quick thought … ?
I noticed that, yesterday, a number of business leaders have put their names to an open letter to the Sunday Times: calling for a referendum on the UK’s Brexit deal.
I, personally, think that would be nice.
Especially if one of the options is to stay in the EU.
I don’t — whatever the options — see it happening.
I don’t think there’s time.

Here’s a thought …
“It’s pretty obvious that, well, sometimes shit happens, doesn’t it?”Tony Abbott, born 4th November, 1957‡.
And a song^ …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Have a good day.
* Oh, it’ll cause issues, Olga, whether I want it too or not! My commute involves two different train lines, TfL and Greater Anglia. They don’t actually talk to each other when they write their time tables: especially the bus replacement onesª! And Greater Anglia trains don’t take Oyster cards: the amount of people who I see getting stopped at Chelmsford, because TfL don’t them that …
† Hospital’s can make for a good horror setting, Debbi: but I guess you don’t need me to tell you that! If it’s any help? There’s been a few Carry On films in hospitals over the years. They could be rather fun … ! (Mind you, Frankie Howerd probably loses a lot in translation … )
‡ I get the feeling — from Mr Abbott’s Wikiquote page — that that’s one of his less contentious quotes …
^ Those of us in the UK will know Barry from his version of the Neighbours theme tune …
ª Which get even MORE complicated … when there’s traffic delays …

From Iran hostage crisis to pipe bombs. Kind of ... well ... life isn't all hostage takers and pipe bombs, is it? :)
