Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 25-12-2019: Christmas Day

25th December, 2019.

It’s official: today is Christmas Day.

And I, like many others, will be celebrating the day with my family.

It should be good: I’m looking forward to seeing how my nephew — he’s nine, tomorrow, if you wanted to surprise someone with an extra present — to the Christmas presents he’s been given.

Including the expensive one!

I’ve just managed to send one a link on how to set up a child’s account on the thing to my family.

Isn’t it amazing what you think of at the last minute?

*        I hope so, Debbi!   I know he’s got a copy of World Of Poo.   Can’t think where that came from.   Oh, did I ever mention Quora?   The question and answer site?   I have to admit, I got cheeky, with one question!

†        One radio presenter tried banning Fairytale of New York.   Personally?   I wasn’t impressed by that …

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
