Has anyone else noticed that the animators have changed Patrick Troughton’s eye colour … ?
It’s …
Well, it’s a mistaken: I think.
But one that does match the colour palette of the two episodes.

Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Trevor*, Mum†, Olga‡ and Debbi^ putting in their answers: with Trevor, Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on three.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?
Q1)An English Army defeated the French, at the Battle of Agincourt. On 25th October of which year?
Q2)Which English King led the English Army?
Q3)The French forces were led — in part — by Charles 1st d’Albret. He held which French title: Constable of France, Chamberlain of France, Chancellor of France or Detective Chief Inspector of France?
Q4)The Battle took place near the French commune of Azincourt. The commune is in which French department: Oise (pronounced waz), Pas de Calais or the Somme?
Q5)Finally … ? The Battle was part of which war: World War 1, the Thirty Years War or the Hundred Years War?
Q2)24th October, 1985, saw the birth of footballer, Wayne Rooney. He’s currently player-manager of which Championship side?
A2)DerbyCounty. (From the little I know? The Championship League is the equivalent of the old Second Division. I’m not sure what the equivalent would be in most US sports, nor in Spanish Football. I’m also told Rooney’s a player coach, rather than a player manager. I couldn’t tell the difference, myself.)
Q3)24th October saw the birth of Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg. The Swedish YouTuber is better known how?
* I couldn’t tell you the difference, to be honest, Trevor: player manager or player coach looks like much of a muchness!
† Morning, Mum: are we still on for dinner?
‡ You didn’t get a cookie, Olga? That’s a shame … ! I can aways Dave you some of my goulash, if you want!
At ANY rate … ? It sounds like you had drama on one hand, and a challenge on the other! I’m just glad Jude’s not that much of a dramatist. Well … I say that! At any rate, it could be worse, it could be a Christmas episode of EastEnders!
I hope the rest of the weekend goes well for you. Frankly? I just want to see how Patrick Troughton’s eyes turn out in episodes three and four.
^ Well, he did crop up in that episode of The Prisoner, Debbi. Maddern cropped up in a couple of the Carry On films, as well: although I know they’re not big in the States.
You’re not wrong about David Tennant, though. He performance in Des was amazing. I was more impressed with Daniel Maysª, though, in Des: he played a blinder.
ª I don’t know if you saw a series called Outcasts, Debbi, but Daniel Mays was in that. He was … sort of OK in the thing … but a lot better in The Limehouse Golem, and Des.
Q1) 1415 Q2) Henry V Q3) Constable of France Q4) Pas de Calais Q5) The Hundred Years’ War Normally the little girl is the calm one in the house. Most of the dramas involve her youngest brother (he is 3 years old) and her mother, who seems to have quite a fiery temper, at least when it comes to screaming her head off. The nanny, on the other hand, seems very calm. Mind you, otherwise, she wouldn't survive there. I think one hour twice a week there is more than enough. Oh, from one of your comments, we still have a segunda division (second division) here and, in fact, the second big football team in Barcelona, el Español (Real Club Deportivo Español to give it its proper name) managed to drop to second division and it's playing there now. It was a bit of a drama, but I suspect any other year it would have been more of a drama. This year... Far too many other things to worry about. Here they are talking about a curfew here in Catalonia (it all depends on how the government meeting goes today), but it might involve closing the schools again, and I'm not sure what that would mean for my classes either. You might be right about the colour palette, and they might have thought people wouldn't notice (of course, they don't know you). Take care.

Job titles in soccer can differ between clubs. Derby County have a Manager Phillip Cocu and a coach Wayne Rooney. The Manager picks the team decides on tactics and may have a hand in the buying and selling of players. Rooney is studying for his coaching badges which he needs if he is to be a manager at a top league side any where in Europe. He helps train the players and may have some input to tactics.
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.

I guess the Doctor Who folks figured they'd touch up the Doctor's eyes a bit to better match the decor. :)
