Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 16-12-2020: Jane Austen

16th December, 2020.

Yep: it’s official the case, that — outside of posting more Christmas cards? — I’m going to be stuck in front of a screen all day!

Diagnostic test for the course, making Teaser videos, doing a video for a neighbour, writing more Christmas cards, frantically drying laundry … !

At some point … ?

Eating may be an idea … !

~≈Á≈~

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Trevor†, Mum‡, Debbi^ and Edithª putting in their answers: with Trevor and Debbi scoring five out five, Olga and Mum on four, and Edith on two.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video …

Here’s a thought …
“Here I am once more in this scene of dissipation and vice, and I begin already to find my morals corrupted.”
Jane Austen.
And a video …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Feel free to share today’s video Teaser.

Have a good day.

*        Uh-oh!   Looks like you missed a bit, Olga!   At any rate … ?   I’m just thankful he turned up: it means I can make a start on the course: or, at least, the next round of diagnostics!   It seems there’s a few tests needed, to see who I do with the basics.
I’ll try and keep my eyes peeled for the film!
Hmmm … Sounds like Anna’s a case of all work and no play!   Saying that, it could just be she’s keen to do well.   (So long as she doesn’t go bonkers with an axe!)

†        Why do you think Ruth called Jude, Jude, Trevor.   She’s a Beatles fan!

‡        Hello, Mum!   Are we still on for Sunday … ?

^        Hmmm … That looks interesting, Debbi, dragged or undragged!   I’ve just played the trailer: did someone just say “Whose side are you on?????????” … ?!?

ª        You go right on ahead, Edith: feel free to repost anything you see here! :D   (Actually, I’ve now got it as an earworm!   ♪I want to spend my Christmas with a Dalek♩)

  1. Just as a final thought … ?

My home town of Brentwood has moved into Tier 3 COVID 19 restrictions: since one minute past midnight.

This means cinemas can no longer open.

That could cause a problem: Wonder Women 1984 got a UK release, yesterday.

Quite what that’ll do to the film’s bottom line, or whether Warner Brothers will release it to UK streamings sites?

    I don’t know.

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
