Because — wait for it — I’m getting the COVID-19 jabs, today.
Or, at least, the first of them.
Hopefully? I won’t get too many side effects.

Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Trevor†, Mum‡, Debbi^ and Edithª‚ putting in their answers: with Olga, Trevor and Debbi scoring five out of five, Edith on four, and Mum on three.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?
Q1)13th March, 2020, saw the shooting of Breonna Taylor: in her Kentucky home. By whom: the Police, the Hell’s Angels or the Mafia?
Q2)13th March is National Elephant Day. Where: Thailand, India or Kenya?
Q3)13th March, 1884, saw the start of the Siege of Khartoum. Khartoum is in which modern African nation?
Q4)13th March, 1939, saw the birth of singer, Neil Sedaka. Who released a version of Sedaka’s (Is This The Way To) Amarillo in 1971: Frank Sinatra, Tony Christie or Tom Jones?
Q5)Finally … ? Who was elected pope on 13th March, 2013: John Paul 2nd, Benedict 16th or Francis 1st?
Q3)Singer, David Daniels, was born on 12th March, 1966. Is he a baritone, tenor or countertenor?
A3)A countertenor. If I’ve understood it correctly? A countertenor has a similar range to a soprano.
Q4)Sir Terry Pratchett died: on 12th March, 2015. What was the name of his first Discworld novel: The Colour of Magic, The Light Fantastic or Equal Rights?
* Terry Pratchett once said, that, when he started work as a journalist, he saw his first corpse on his first day. It sounds like he’d fitted right in at Barcelona Hospital, Olga! And there were guns going off as well? And people tell you prison is easy!
Talking about the Everard case? Apparently, he’s been hospitalised a second time: with head injuries. I’m wondering if he’s trying to kill himself, by banging his head against the cell walls …
† The best we could do, Trevor? Was a lump pf polystyrene on the over side of the road! Talking of which? I don’t know if you remember her, but they’s got Celeste Bell on: daughter of Poly Styrene! (Oh, I saw the Facebook comment about MPs. He’s turned up once, around here: for a drug raid. Make what you will of that … )
‡ Hello, Mum! See you at eleven … !
^ Here’s hoping, Debbi!
ª You know, I’ve not heard a Huey Lewis tune for years, Edith! Sounds like your Mum had taste. I still remember The Power Of Love, the song they did for Back to the Future! Back in ’85, I think that was. As I recall, there was a few songs with the same name. Oh, do you remember ZZTop? They did a tune for the third Back to the Future film.
Q5) Francis 1st You might be right about the policeman. Being in prison is particularly tough for police officers and the like, for evident reasons. I hope the vaccine goes without a hitch. Fingers crossed!

I do not think that our MP visited Hanging Hill Lane. My informant told me that it was a female councillor who looked at the mess and took many photos. He has got a letter from the Council telling him that they are doing the repairs “Soon”.
Anita and I saw Neil Sedaka at the Palladium.

Just been in the kitchen to get another cup of coffee and saw the results of today winds. 1 Dustbin lid on my lawn (do not know where dustbin is). In front of the flower troughs at the front of the garden is 1 red bottle recycling bin and 2 dark blue outdoor Kitchen waste bins.
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.

I remember ZZ Top. I had forgotten their involvement with the franchise. Thanks for the reminder.
