At ANY rate, I can appreciate using the phones will be confusing. But look at it this way, Mum managed to do the updates that were causing issues: and she’s about the same age you are.
JUST so you know, though? You should have a phone icon, somewhere: usually on the dock at the bottom. You can press that to enter The number you want to call, OR to pick a contact you want to phone or message. You can ALSO hit the Message icon, if you just want to send a text. You should, if you can GET to Terminal, be able to do all sorts: you’re using Android, a version of Linux, which is based on Unix. If you can get to a terminal on there, you should be able to make it jump through hoops …

Yes, parallel to the Equator. One of the men who joined the walk asked the guide/author if he'd found out if the design of the street was intentional or not, but he said he hadn't, although considering the way much of the newest part of the city was planned by this guy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ildefons_Cerd%C3%A0), it is likely to have been intentional, although there is the story that there had been a bar/inn called El Paral·lel long before the avenue was planned. Barcelona has very different bits, and, of course, was traversed also by big Roman roads as well, so I guess there's been plenty of planners and builders over the years.
You've worn many hats, for sure. I don't remember reading about your work at the theatre. My uncle John (Juan, but as he lived in London many years he became John) had worked as head of waiters at the Mermaid Theatre and loved it. Unfortunately, when they undertook a big refurbishment project many years ago (he's been retired now for many years and is living in Spain as well) they let their staff go, with promises of having them back when they reopened, but as is the case with those kinds of projects, it took forever and by the time they reopened, he'd found another position with more convenient working hours, but he has plenty of stories to tell about his time there. None that involved wearing special makeup, though!

You do not know what Jet-lag really is. A mere hour change hardly does anything to the body clock. It was never too bad for me flying from London to Vancouver. A 9 ½ hour flight and 8 hours time difference. You normally landed at a time before you took off. Flying from Vancouver to London still a 9 ½ hour flight used to take me at least a couple of days to get over.
Flights around Europe never gave me jet-lag.
