Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Very true, Olga: I keep meaning to check out more of Ben Wheatley’s stuff for pretty much the same reason. And keep meaning to watch Chariots of Fire, as well: although 2012 would have been the appropriate year to see it!
And, yes: my friend definitely dodged a bullet. Saying that? They had a daughter together: who’s not, thankfully, been directly affected by any of the father’s actions. My friend’s got a job cut out for her, sorting out custody: the pair live in two separate towns. There’s a lot of potential upheaval in the works, I know that! (I’m grateful they split when they did: she was better off without, even before this came up.)
† Hello, Mum!
‡ Oh, I saw the review go past, Debbi: I managed to tweet it for you. Given the 60th Anniversary’s next year? I’m wondering if there’ll be a second edition … ? (Oh, an old friend’s been asking about ripping blu-rays. I don’t think he quite realised what he let himself in for!)
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
