*        It went well enough, Olga^: I managed to put an application with a bookies that has a local branch, and put my CV in with a couple of other places.   Here’s hoping!   Oh, and An agency’s supposed to be phoning me, this evening!

        Hello, Mum!

It sounds good, Paul. Keep us posted on the phone call and everything else.
I do love Black Books. I used to talk about it sometimes at work, and I ended up giving the DVD as a Christmas present to the manager (a psychiatric nurse) in the last hospital where I was working, and she also enjoyed it.
I'm off on radio business this afternoon. A homage to the volunteers of a charity supporting elderly people, helping them remain at home, and it is combined with a social occasion (roasted chestnuts and panellets for the older people as well), so I'm sure it will be a merry affair. Oh, not sure I've mentioned panellets before...

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
